It’s sad, Allar wants to step up and be a play maker but he has no one to go to if Warren is covered up. At the same time, he needs to understand the situation he’s in. @PSUBarstool Receivers need to hold on to the ball. Wallace had a touchdown but didn’t secure it. Atrocious play calling on the goal line. Why are 95% of run plays up the gut? Get Singleton on the outside edge where he is dangerous. I’ve said this all year.

@PSUBarstool Would love to see Wallace and Fleming get more involved early. (Fleming was huge in the end.) Ohio State isn’t going to let Warren get that many touches. Warren was phenomenal and has been all year but we can’t solely rely on him. Apart from the turnovers, Allar lead this team.

@PSUBarstool I miss Manny Diaz. This defense has all the talent in the world but I don’t know what game Tom Allen was watching. Playing cover when the defense was more productive playing man. Need to get Singleton out in space, on outside runs. That’s where you see him make big plays.

Quick thoughts after trying to cool off

Offense was bad, but some of my biggest gripes:

We abandoned the run game early on when we had success.

The receivers created no separation and were not in sync with Drew who was not good today.

I didn’t understand some of the third down play calling in short yardage situations.

Going for it on 4th down when we did ended the game. If we make it, okay great call but nothing all game gave confidence that we would’ve made that.

I’m definitely more optimistic than most but I’m trying not to be as harsh on some people that others are.
