🚨 First league goal for Scotland u17 star 🚨
Ryan Oné is special. Has a quite unique blend of technique, strength & athleticism for a young Scot. 🏴
Today he scored for Hamilton Accies just ten mins after coming off the bench. Liverpool, Brighton, Celtic & more interested!
@elmer_magoo@officialEKFC I think that response is out of order, humility is obviously not a trait that you have either, criticising coaching staff after a defeat like this out of bitterness does show that you are clueless. It looks like, you have a personal Vendetta against the colt ! 🤦🏿♂️🤔🤦🏿♂️
Watching @TedLasso is just amazing. Tackling all the difficult subject in football while staying funny and serious at the same time is just brillant. I know I am probably late to the party but who cares.🤣 #TedLasso#football
🎙️ José Mourinho on signing Didier Drogba for Chelsea:
"In 2003, I coached Porto and we faced Marseille in the Champions League. That evening, Drogba scored and celebrated his goal as if it were his last, the atmosphere at the Stade Vélodrome went crazy, the noise was deafening.
At half-time, I passed him in the tunnel and said to him: "I don't have the money to buy you, but do you have any cousins in Ivory Coast who can play like you?".
He laughed, hugged me and said: "One day you will be in a club that can buy me."
6 months later, I signed for Chelsea... I had several options, but I arrived and said: "I want Didier Drogba". Some people had doubts, wondering about Didier: "Why this one?", "Why not that one?", "Are you sure he will adapt to the Premier League?" Is he really that good?".
Despite these questions, I repeated "I want Didier Drogba."
Eventually, Didier became a legend at Chelsea. Those goals have brought him titles and accolades, but what sticks with me are the countless stories we have together." 💙
🎙️ Didier Drogba in 2020: "8 years ago at Chelsea, our coach Villas-Boas was sacked by the club and us players had a team meeting where we acknowledged our part of the responsibility for his departure. Captain John Terry spoke, Frank Lampard, Petr Cech and the other leaders of the group also spoke.
We then decided to put all our strength into the Champions League even though we had just lost 3-1 against Napoli in the first leg of the round of 16. We had been chasing this trophy for 8 years and we hadn’t finished better than runner-up. Everyone decided to put their egos aside and fight for each other, with the same goal.
After that meeting, I asked 23-year-old Juan Mata for help: "Please, Maestro, help me win the Champions League."
He looked at me like he was saying, "Man, you're crazy. You're Didier Drogba, it's up to you to help me win."
I replied that "I have been at Chelsea for 8 years and I have never won it. So believe me, you are the guy who will help us win it. I will even give you a gift if we win it.”
Three months later, we were in Munich for the final, in their stadium submerged in a red wave. Bayern were leading 1-0 with 8 minutes remaining and I was discouraged. But a young man named Juan Mata told me: "Keep believing Didier, you have to keep believing".
Me, I was in tears and I answered him: “Believe in what? It's over, I'm going to cry like a few months ago when I lost the AFCON final with Ivory Coast.”
And then, we play the final minute and we get a corner. Last minute, last corner. Juan Mata takes it and the rest is history! The lesson of all this is "ALWAYS BELIEVE". 💙
@elmer_magoo Bitterness is not a good trait to have, it seems that you really spend your energy on wanting some bad outcomes to happen to the colt. Shame on you.
Where were u after the Hamilton game, probably upset because you had nothing to say. Hating on other is childish. #hater
@elmer_magoo@OfficialCatchup What’s insane is you tweeting about football when you don’t even know what it is🤦🏿♂️I bet you are one of them old guys, sitting in the pub that swear to everybody that you could have played but got a bad knee injury. #relax#tweeterfingers
