Early days of a fun collaboration with the @TheKulkarniLab. We used the #AmnisImageStream@Luminex to detect #microglia (yellow/purple) interactions with nanoparticles (green). Top left quadrant is the actual image; other quadrants are for artistic effect!

This podcast couldn't have come at a more perfect time. Such an inspirational and hopeful discussion between Dr. Jane Goodall and Tim Ferriss. I'd venture to say that it may be the most important podcast @tferriss ever shares with the world. Thank you both for all that you do.

Excellent resource for grad students on developing a practice of productivity.
Thank you @mtn_science for spending your "fun" time producing this helpful guide - I already started implementing some of your strategies!
I made it to Berlin 🇩🇪 for the #PNIRS2019 Conference! My circadian clock is clearly a hot mess as I woke up at 3 o’clock this morning ☕️. Hopefully🤞I remain pathogen 🦠 free and won’t be a shining example of my data showing that circadian disruption prolongs sickness behavior 😜
@npokorzynski I never imagined that It would be a simple solution. If it were, we wouldn’t be talking about raw milk in the first place. I just think it would be easier than trying to convince people who see raw milk as “healthy” to stop drinking it.
@npokorzynski Honestly, instead of fighting a battle against raw milk I think it would be better to come up with a different solution. For instance, provide an easy and inexpensive way for people to test the milk for Listeria or other pathogens of concern. Then everyone will be happy :)
@npokorzynski I stopped drinking it because I wanted to cut back on dairy products. I shifted to making kombucha instead. Although me stopping had little to do with infectious disease, the known risk does keep me from drinking it again.
@npokorzynski I started drinking it during my undergrad which was in the heart of Amish country so it was readily available. At the time, I was interested in consuming it as a probiotic drink and to make kefir. It also tasted so much better than pasteurized milk in my opinion.
"'Don’t learn to code, learn to automate,' writes the coder Erik Dietrich. This is bang on. Nearly every white-collar job on the planet involves tons of work that can be done more efficiently if you know a bit of coding."

Is there an app or program that simplifies the data analysis process? One where you provide the app or program information about your data (e.g. sample size, existence of outliers, normality, etc.) and it provides you recommendations? If not, there should be. #data#Statistics
