Learning to spar (martial arts, boxing) where u are taking hits is necessary for men.
Why? You learn to stay calm under the worst kind of pressure - physical threat
I'm not saying where you get brain damaged...
Just enough so that you brain sees that punch, kick, clench and says 'I'm going to protect myself and fight back'
In a focused, calm, quick and capable way
Learn this and you can handle anything.
Learn to fight well, take up any martial art that involves actively (and realistically) resisting other men in sparring on a regular basis, and just keep going no matter how much you hate it. We really underestimate how much of male confidence is rooted in primal survival ability
@MyLatinLife hiring a lawyer, anywhere , even in the US, for anything serious - high stakes economics, criminal , liability - requires hired a connected lawyer
Do they have a relationship with the judges, regulators, etc - connections and influence matter just as much as competence
@financedystop When the power goes out and they can’t use the phone / iPad, they become kids again…
Making games out of anything they find around the house
@Cernovich I am not psychologically designed to be a minority investor with ‘maybe, kind of , some day’ liquidity rights / options.
I accept and embrace my personality.
I focus on what is first (!) a fit with me personally and I am at peace
At least in the US we have embedded in our roots, what President Lincoln described as
“government of the people, by the people, for the people”
Bloated bureaucracy and institutional corruption have diminished that somewhat, but the foundation is there.
That is not the way most governments think

Spain will make it illegal to invoice with an Excel spreadsheet in 2027
I’m not exaggerating. This is a real law
The plan was this. Every self employed person has to buy government certified invoicing software. From 2026 on, you can’t use things like Word, Excel or a PDF to invoice your clients
Only certified software that reports each invoice to the tax authority in real time, the moment you create it
Use a spreadsheet instead? The fine is up to €50,000 per year. This is not for hiding income btw. Just for owning the wrong software
To make things even worse, it was supposed to be mandatory in 2026
So thousands of small businesses did the responsible thing. They panicked, they paid for the software, they retrained their staff, they rebuilt their entire invoicing on a tight deadline because Hacienda told them to…
Then, less than a month before it kicked in, the government pushed the whole thing back a year
Read that again
Companies had already spent real money preparing for a deadline that suddenly evaporated. Following the rules was an expensive mistake
This is the Spanish system in one story. Invent an absurd requirement. Threaten you with a €50,000 fine. Make you pay to comply. Then move the goalposts and punish the ones who took it seriously
This is why I left
I’m done paying to be allowed to do my own work, and paying again when they change their mind
AI ought to be able to scan social media accounts, give police advance notice and preempt this.
Throw organizers and their parents in jail with harsh sentences.
🚨HOLY CRAP!!!
An absolutely MASSIVE "teen-takeover" at Clearwater Beach in Florida led to a 17-year-old being hospitalized with GUNSHOT WOUNDS.
Hundreds of teens swarmed the beach, then began BEATING EACH OTHER on the FIRST WEEKEND OF SUMMER.
WHERE ARE THE PARENTS?!!!!!!!!!
@GayBearRes@ControGorilla Parents need to be reasonable. I went through the same thing. Unfortunately in my case there was no reasoning. It was extremely difficult, no way around that . But if you lay out a solution that works, and they don’t want to do it, you cannot sacrifice your life and family.
@TexasRose1836@Cernovich There’s a cultural reluctance among many traditional Protestants to talk about their faith openly.
I’m talking about the ones who belive the bauble is the word of God, not the watered down woke mainline Protestant denominations.
@PretentiousT10@BowTiedBull Every messed up kid I knew was shipped off to prep school in New England , where they perfected their substance abuse problems
There are two kinds of national anthems.
The ones you politely applaud, and the one Metallica played before Game 4 of the '16 Stanley Cup Final. There is no third kind.
