HORROR GAMES LOST MEDIA FOUND!
One of my favorite less known Clock Tower facts is that, in 2007 in Italy, all cutscenes from the third game were shown on TV as a movie. This footage was lost for a long time. Here is in full beauty!

Mahou Arms v1.0
I've written plenty of times about this game and it's always been delays over delays. Seems like it FINALLY has an actual 1.0 Release Date! Jul 27, 2026. This is for the CAG fans, it has a rocky past, but it could be a hit.

Charlie Schlatter, the voice of Kick Buttowski, confirmed that Kick’s favorite anime is ‘Soaring Sky! PreCure.’
When asked at Nostalgia Con NJ 2026, he simply replied: “Totally.”

In Chapter Two, I wrote about the tragedy that would unfold if devils were to manifest everywhere through online networks. It was forty years ago. At that era, it might have been a highly novel concept. By the way, I was having a meeting with Mr. Ueda, the director of the game "Megami Tensei," based on a sample copy of the novel. It seems that Mr. Ueda was deeply moved by the illustration of that tragedy in Chapter Two.
Chapter 3 is now up. This is a crucial chapter that explains Megami Tensei's concept of reincarnation. I spent a long time thinking about how to explain it to an international people. I had Izanami say it like this, "You are my vessel for reincarnation." This very phrase is the true essence of MT.

Three years ago, I promised an American reader that I would translate “Megami Tensei” into English myself. In order to fulfill that promise, I am publishing this translation.
However, since contractual matters were resolved this month, my partner and I are in discussions with an overseas publisher regarding the translation. My translation is not polished enough as English. But it is faithful to the original text. I hope it will help a translator I trust understand my Japanese. And I believe that translator will turn the sequels to “Megami Tensei”—"Warrior of the Demon City” and “The End of Reincarnation”—into wonderful English novels.
Therefore, I will remove this text by the end of July. In the meantime, I hope you will take the time to savor what “Digital Devil Story” is all about.

"Hey smelly, I work for (company), we had a threat actor phish an employee and use ScreenConnect to get access to their computer. The Threat Actor then dropped a .exe on the computer. Our AV/EDR stopped it, but we don't know what it is. Do you want to see?"

My Brother in Christ, your organization is (probably) being targeted by a known Vietnamese Threat Group
Evil Dead idea:
Rockstar finds the Necronomicon and writes the summoning phrase into a song to compete with more culturally diverse/interesting musicians, unleashing the entity onto a packed metal concert
Title: "Evil Shred"
Tagline: "Its time to test the metal of man"
you have the manga, you have the pretentious GITS and GITS2 movies with incredible production, you have the best police serial anime ever made (SACS), and you have the more accurate new adaption, plus other spinoffs.
One of the strangest arguments I've seen lately is: "Show me games that have actually been lost," as if physical collectors just invented this scenario.
There are entire databases dedicated to tracking delisted games across every platform. Start here: https://t.co/yCtN5RKbFJ
This isn't some conspiracy. Publishers remove games from sale all the time. And before someone says, "Yeah, but nobody cared about those games..."
That's completely missing the point. The practice is what's important.
The PS3/Vita storefront, for example, remains one of the last legitimate ways to buy classics like Xenogears, Einhänder, Threads of Fate, Vagrant Story, Parasite Eve, Alundra, and many others without paying retro collector prices. Some have modern ports. Many don't.
"But people who already bought them can still download them!"
Great... that does absolutely nothing for everyone who comes after. If future players can't legally buy a game anymore, then yes, that game has effectively been lost to the marketplace. And can we guarantee we'll still be able to download them indefinitely? No.
Sony already removed hundreds of purchased movies from users' libraries after licensing agreements expired.
So no, this isn't some hypothetical doomsday scenario that physical media fans dreamed up. It's already happening. And it absolutely baffles me that some people want to pretend this isn't a problem.
It's sad how Playstation means nothing to me now. Back then they'd do things like making a puzzle game with the most rousing soundtrack you've ever heard. You'd get experiences you've never had before because they had artists at the helm. It's all gone now
checks out with Iizuka's game design philosophy ngl, even his first Sonic game, Sonic 3, streamlines level design significantly compared to previous entries
It’s the little details… I’ve been replaying the game lately amongst others (Recomp) and while I still find the game too easy for its own good (even luck mode), it has a certain charm to it that it’s hard to replicate or even explain.
Thank you for all your encouragement and messages. I’m sorry I can’t reply to every post. Originally, I planned to complete this translation a little earlier, but it’s taking longer than expected. This is because I’m currently writing an article titled "The Birth of Megami Tensei" for a magazine. I’m very grateful to them for waiting a whole year for me to write it. I’ll let you know when it’s published.
I had decided long ago that if I were ever to publish my own translation of Megami Tensei, it would be on this very day. While I cann't be certain if my English phrasing is perfect, I believe it's more faithful to the original text than previous pirated versions. Since negotiations for the official translation and publication are currently underway, I plan to take this down by the end of July. You will likely have to wait for the book's release to read the literary translation of Volume 1, as well as the translations for Volumes 2 and 3. However, if things do n't go as planned, I will keep you updated.
