Truly honored to receive “The Shimon Vega Young Scientist Travel Award” and present my work on Polyradical Overhauser DNP at EUROMAR. Grateful to @euromar2025 for the recognition. Oulu’s “no-darkness” charm, inspiring talks, and great company made it an unforgettable experience.
🎉 Congratulations to our PhD student Feyza for winning the Poster Prize for “Investigating Tetragonal Tungsten Bronze Structures for Na⁺ Battery Applications” at the International Conference on Sustainable Chemistry for Net Zero 2025 in St Andrews! 🏆🌍
Well done, Feyza! 👏
Excellent work by Astrid H. Berge, demonstrating the clever application of ssNMR and DNP, exploiting both endogenous and exogenous dopants for detection of specific impurities or the separation of bulk versus surface/subsurface phases in Al-LLZO. https://t.co/6KqhaG1URI #NMRchat
Fantastic lecture by Prof. Dame ClareGrey @Cambridge_Uni on understanding battery function at International Conference on Sustainable Chemistry for Net Zero (ICSCNZ). A wonderful start of day two!

A new paper, 'Transferability of Data Sets between Machine-Learned Interatomic Potential Algorithms' led by Dr. Sam Niblett is now available in J. Chemical Theory and Computation. Huge congratulations to Sam and all the collaborators! 👏👏https://t.co/8scd7XKRsY
Visiting Research Fellowship (6-months) opportunity to work in battery materials research in the Grey Group, mainly for early career researchers currently based in Chile, Argentina or Brazil. This programme is funded by the Faraday Institution (FI). https://t.co/G4uP7jfzcv
PDRA position available to work on lithium-ion battery electrolytes as part of the @FiDegradation supervised jointly by Prof. Dame Clare Grey and Prof. Dominic Wright at @ChemCambridge https://t.co/p3HroQ923N
. @michal_leskes Reminder: Deadline for the application for student grants is in two weeks, April 30, please follow the instructions given here: https://t.co/G8Yam2YZ3m #NMRchat 🧲
It was a huge pleasure to be at the special symposium for friend & colleague Prof Dame Clare Grey @GreyGroupCam to celebrate her 60th birthday @ChemCambridge.
Also great to see others incl @YingShirleyMeng@MRosaPalacin & many more.
Two days of excellent science and heartfelt memories (old and new). The Grey-hounds/friends coming together for this occasion is the direct testimonial of Clare’ unmatched guidance, contagious curiosity and dedication for the science. happy birthday Clare 🎉🎊🥳
After day1 of super exciting talks by eminent speakers, looking forward for the day2. It was a delight to hear impact Clare has made on everyone’s life at professional/personal level. Celebrating her accomplishments and contribution by sharing 1 thing she likes most ‘science’. 🎉
Did you know there have been 6.5m papers on #energy storage....

My first lead author paper is now live @ChemMater! We solve the structure of the first desodiated phase in NaxNiO2 (x=2/3) via X-ray and neutron diffraction, solid state NMR, and DFT/AIMD. Ni charge- and Na vacancy-ordering play an important role! https://t.co/1VUJNrdGg6
Paid internships for undergraduate students from a UK university: We are excited to announce that this year as well we will be hosting several interns under @FaradayInst Fuse scheme for battery projects. Please check the link https://t.co/VLM64bNRbO and spread the word 🥼🧪🔋
Our latest experiment was the cat's μ!
We just wrapped up in-/ex-situ μ-SR on EMU @isisneutronmuon ! We're looking into sodium dynamics in the phases which form when NaNiO2 is electrochemically cycled, and could even measure whilst dis/charging thanks to the BAM cell!
