@jesseproudman Seattle forked off of that timeline in 2018 with the head tax and further locked ourselves off the economic leadership timeline with the Jumpstart tax. I think we can come back in future tech investment waves, but for sure not from data centers.
@jesseproudman I will always be astonished by people that advocate for or willingly vote for less economic freedom and opportunity for themselves and their city.
@PNWConservative In the future when neighbors in LA are stepping up to protect their homes, are you going to remember you thought this? Or are you going to suggest that 90% of them voted for Bass?
@brianeskow There is no way to prove it's not rigged until each voter can cryptographically validate that their ballot was counted and how their vote was counted.
If you believe the numbers, Katie got 50.2% of the vote. How exactly do you arrive at a guarantee that 90% of these people speaking out against failed Seattle policies voted for Katie? Why are you admonishing people from your keyboard that are doing something to protect their neighborhood?
LA friends. In your fight against tweakers, dealers, pimps, taxes, and chaos — Seattle homeowners get it, we’re in the same war. Today’s "ballot drops" have pushed Pratt out of the runoff, meaning you will see future armchair "conservative" comments from NPCs that trust the system, admonishing you with "you voted for this" statements while you continue fighting the front lines. We see you, we’re with you, and we can fix this together.
@PNWConservative Not sure that anyone actually wanted Wilson there. The last thing those folks need is to be admonished for being privileged homeowners and further taxed by the activist to help the pimps and prostitutes.
