@SmilebotAR After playing again after a while la Reina is frustrating but honestly my fav to fight outta the cast. I haven’t played a master+ one yet so I’m sure that opinion can change
I'm seeing a some people are upset at the placement for Rivals of Aether 2 at EVO
For anyone unaware, I am the publisher for that game
I also remember being in the crowd at EVO 2016 and watching hungrybox beat armada through losers
It was a seminal weekend for me. I returned from Vegas and started grinding smash, got my ass beat. Then I started grinding commentary, and later on that turned into streaming
To have another platform fighter, and it be the one I publish, means something to me (regardless of how you feel about us...)
To clarify I did buy a bunch of EVO passes to help make this the biggest Rivals 2 tournament we've ever had
We handed passes to the top 128 players, ran online qualifiers, ran locals, and gave passes to TO's to give out to their community
I'm sure I got taken advantage of. People sold codes, shared them without permission, and signed up with no intention of playing. But that's the price I'm willing to pay to make this the biggest Rivals 2 event we've ever had. The community has rallied around this, and I'm pumped to go to EVO this year
See yall there (Saturday night)
I don’t wanna tweet about the boys too much but I thought the only issue with the finale was the groveling from homelander. He has literally never groveled his whole life so I thought he would just throw a fit like a kid like Light from Death Note.
Adolf Hitler shot himself the moment he knew he couldn't win his war. The Boys has several issues writing wise but they portrayed what happens when a narcissist loses all power pretty well.
Being an expert yourself, please don't leave me hanging in suspense. What portion of the $45 retail price bag of dogfood rightfully belongs to the cashier?
The STS2 doorman complaints are so weird to me cause he’s the only boss I have a 100% winrate against after the new update. Bro does not have much health
After playing the new patch of Slay the Spire 2 early access, I had a really weird feeling
Normally I feel that people are exaggerating for the overly harsh criticisms of updates. I’ve been LOVING Slay the Spire 2 before this patch, and now… I have a bunch of issues.
Between the Door man boss being so much drastically harder than any other boss you legitimately HAVE to exclusively plan around it, so many cards being nerfed to a point it no longer feels worth it to play them at all, it… doesn’t feel good.
I agree that some nerfing and balancing is absolutely necessary, ESPECIALLY for an early access game. But this feels so overwhelming harsh on it.
I personally love the thought of there being more challenging content in the game - but after experiencing being A10, having one of the most confident builds I’ve ever had, and losing to Doorman because he makes so many deck build paths completely worthless and is near impossible to play around without building for him… it doesn’t feel great.
I hope it gets better, and I think people may be acting a bit too harsh, but for once - I can’t help but at least agree with what’s being criticized.
@IvanSantos1248 I’d have to look into it but I was under the impression that it’s just a part of the tax system for the next 8 years. It definitely helps, but not much since most people who survive off tips weren’t paying much tax anyways. It def helps people who live in high cost areas
Certainly untrue, but I actually do like the changes that went into effect this year. The 6k credit for seniors, not tax on tips, and no tax on overtime are all great. I just worry about the loopholes that no tax on tips may create
IM FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
(I have to do payroll for the next 4 hours wish me luck)
