I used to always pay cash for my daily drivers until 2017 when the Finance Manager at the Ford Store looked at my $100,000 check and said

“you seem like a successful guy, don’t you think you can make more then 2% on your $100,000”

I said WTF do you mean?

“Give me a check for $20k keep $80k to make more money, do you think you can make more than $1600 with that 80k?”

I said ya I can!

Drove home in a new Raptor and had $80k left over to invest. Did I buy BTC or stocks or RE? No I bought drugs and booze but that’s not the point of this story.
