Thats the future. A decentralized public health infrastructure. I keep telling yall: PRIVATE industry is hiring TEAMS of epidemiologists. And paying us all handsomely. These companies care about THEIR reputations not the public good. And corporations absolutely still believe in science.
I'm really not sure any group of people live in a more sealed-off, fantasy bubble than tech bros. What about the entire history of humanity made you think this would be the result of ChatGPT? lmao
There is no place in our politics for sexual violence. Not in our party, not in any party. Graham Platner must withdraw from this race today.
This is not what we stand for. Not as Democrats, not as Mainers, not as human beings. For too long, women who survive sexual violence have been told to stay quiet, to protect the men who hurt them, to think about the campaign, the party, the cause. We cannot ask women to trust us with their futures while looking the other way when one of our own hurts them. That ends here.
I believe Jenny Racicot.
Bitterly disappointing to see a politician with such a desperately needed message preemptively piss everything away with terrible behavior and bad choices. It’s time for us to do the only thing you can do when you make a mistake: Correct it as quickly as possible and move on.
A conservative asks: "He's worked his butt off, has built a business, is thriving in a niche, and he is a valuable asset for our community. How is there not a way for him to be legal?" THAT is the question everyone should be asking. We need ways for people to be legal.
While I am not a proponent of mercy for lawyers who (mis)use AI, I wish a court would just once bring this fire-and-brimstone attitude to corporate defense lawyers lying about, hiding, slow-walking, or failing to preserve evidence in discovery.
Uh. The White House is officially elevating the Confederacy to be part of American “unity.”
This is Robert E. Lee SURRENDERING.
The treason of this government is endless and must be put down like the last rebellion.
Originalism is such a sham.
Here is Kavanaugh inviting the Court to create new "exceptions" to birthright citizenship "recognized based on new developments after 1868."
Ask the same for abortion or voting rights, and he'd laugh you out of the room.
The fact that four of the justices read “all persons born in the US are citizens of the US” and then said that ending birthright citizenship is totally fine is more proof that all the “constitutional conservatism” and “textualism” is pure bullshit
They’re just unabashed hacks
@mothmaxx Gorsuch (not trying to praise him rly) is like 75% consistent where most of the rest are 50%… the unfortunate part being that the 25% he is inconsistent about is just straight right wing psychosis
Wow, only 5-4 on the constitutional holding. Trump came within one vote of successfully revising the Fourteenth Amendment almost out of nowhere. Victory for birthright citizenship -- for sure. But almost a defeat. Raising the question of why we are playing this game.
(1) The party of Epstein wants genital inspections for teen athletes.
(2) Every time conservative justices can destroy a campaign finance law, they will.
(3) Upholding birthright citizenship should have been unanimous. That it wasn't shows how extreme Court conservatives are.
