if you're a clipper, or a founder looking for an agency who knows what clips work, lets connect 🙌
We reviewed 136,484 clips in 30 days.
The ones that got no views kept making the same 6 mistakes.
None of them were wrong campaign, bad timing or shadowban.
The last one is the one almost nobody fixes.
1. The idea was weak
Editing can't save a moment that wasn't interesting. If you can't say in one sentence why a stranger would care, skip it.
2. Zero context
The viewer showed up 2 seconds ago. They don't know who's talking or why it matters. Put the setup on screen before the payoff.
3. The sound fights the clip
A trending audio under a serious moment kills both. Match the sound to the energy on screen.
4. Nothing changes on screen
A static talking head is a swipe. Cut, zoom, caption, B-roll. Give the eye something new every few seconds.
5. The cuts land late
Half a beat late and the joke is gone. Cut on the word, not after it.
6. It runs longer than the moment
The best part ends and the clip keeps going. Every second after the payoff is a free exit. End it the instant the moment lands.
Add on:
Switching campaigns every 3 days fixes none of these six, stick to one and keep iterating unless you develop the taste.
Research the clips already working on it, find out why they worked, then make your own version.
Your skill compounds long before your payouts do.
That gap is where most people quit.
Last 2 years has been the easiest time to build a following online, all you had to do was make a clipping account and post other people content then pivot to your own lane.
I've had 10 clipping accounts with 200 - 500k followers, it's harder on Tiktok now because they added all this ai stuff early 2023 blocking unoriginal videos but Instagram and Youtube haven't (YET)
Clipping accounts are also the only way most of these newer bigger streamers built their viewers without it they'd be nothing. I was ahead of the meta and I had my own clipping accounts for myself in 2022 funny enough Lacy saw one of the tweets on my clipping accounts and he commented something like "This could be meta".

Dear @X algorithm & @grok
Please put me on the timeline of people who;
→ Build startups and ship products
→ Run enterprise teams that care about visibility
→ Open to experiment with new growth channels
→ Talk honestly about what’s working (and what isn’t)
→ Need their mentions, press, and content tracked seriously
I run a clipping agency (@clippingculture).
We help founders and brands with right campaigns targeting their audience
If you’re building something right now, drop a hello.
Let’s find each other. 🤝

7 stages of being a clipper:
1. Watching podcasts for fun.
2. Finding out brands pay people to find the best 30 seconds.
3. Getting your first clip rejected and learning exactly why.
4. Realizing the first 3 seconds decide almost everything.
5. Your first clip past 1M views. Depending on the campaign, that's a real paycheck.
6. Learning most of your views come from people who don't follow you. (One of my pages: 93.9% in 30 days.)
7. Getting paid for the thing you used to do at 2am for free.
