@daveazzopardi That match v Man City epitomises the Nuno era, and that goal by Matt was superb (particularly the assist from Raul). We felt we could beat anyone in those days. Thanks Matt ❤️
@dave60776@MrR1g4t This ‘2 games a week’ stat that people always quote is just wrong. Season starts in August, ends in May so is at least 40 weeks which would mean 80 games. ‘There’s 2 games on some weeks’ would be more accurate.
@JacquiOatley@RHolmes70@Wolves@sportbbcwm If that’s the case why was Jackson so quick to defend them when someone suggested they weren’t trying? Particularly as most will be leaving. They’ve been awful all season, it’s been a real chore attending games.
@JacquiOatley@Wolves@sportbbcwm You lost me at ‘Jackson spoke well’. Edwards and Jackson were talking as though they were both appointed last week rather than 6 months ago. January transfer window was terrible. The audience member who suggested that Shi should get rid of them both was spot on.

@letsdigit@DazHaleWM Totally agree. Edwards constantly referencing how hard the players train. Perhaps that explains why they look knackered in every match. If only there was a trophy for training - we might win it.
@molineuxmusings Edwards and Jackson were talking as though they were both appointed last week rather than 6 months ago. The audience member who suggested that Shi should get rid of them both was spot on. No confidence in either of them.

@TalkingWolves I don’t remember him saying it was nothing to do with him when we beat Villa and Liverpool 🤔. Think we need to get rid now and not let him waste a pre-season.
@retrofootballnw I was there that day as a Wolves fan, knew straight away he was something special. Pity Keane and Bully only played together towards the end of Bully’s career, those two up front and in their prime would have been fantastic
@FootballInT80s As a Wolves fan I was really pleased when he signed for us but injuries limited his appearances. In one of his returns from injury he came on as sub, sprinted across the pitch to take up position on the opposite wing and pulled his hamstring near the centre circle! True story
@measlewolf Season ticket holder since 1978 and I would agree. Sad that not one of today’s team would get near that starting 11. Possibly Andre/Gomes as subs but they’re not getting ahead of Neves and Moutinho 🐺
@FBAwayDays Wolves fan here, I’d say Blues, West Ham, Leeds, Millwall were worst ones for me in the 1990’s. Also remember at Boro people on their doorsteps shouting at us after the match!
@talkSPORT As a Wolves fan my ‘Football pet peeve’ is that he was ever our manager. We’ve had some bad managers but he runs Terry Connor close 😁. Talks a good game but never a manager.
@LondonPubMap I remember going to West Ham as a Wolves fan and as our coach drove past that pub there was a police horse blocking the double doors to stop their fans getting out. Its front legs were inside the pub, back legs on the pavement!
@PictureSporting Listened to the radio commentary on the beach during a family holiday in Weymouth and then watched the highlights later that day with my Dad and brother. Great memories of one of the best innings I’ve ever seen from my all time favourite player
