@Jeff_Coop27 When Wemby is playing in the paint like that on both ends, you have to jump shoot your way out of it on offense. I liked the stuff we were running in the 2nd half. On defense I would try to get him to shoot 3s. When he is off, he can’t make 3s. Never shot above mid 30s on 3s.

Also he is so hard to score on in the paint. He is even better than last year.

@MavsFilmRoom To me he has Draymond Green potential with more height and strength. And what if he can develop a better 3 than Draymond. Hard to judge his BBIQ potential right now as a rookie because the flow of the game takes time. Draymond is next level on that, so I hesitate to compare some.

@proxennn I thought he showed some resilience. They were a shot away from beating last years WCF champs. In the 2nd half, he found ways to score. Spurs play elite defense and it’s a learning curve as there is no other team like them. At least give him until mid season before you judge.

@Jeff_Coop27 I don’t like it either but this is the modern nba. I heard a story of someone playing pick up basketball against Cal Ripken Jr during his iron man streak. Basically Ripken thought that it was more dangerous to be too cautious and pulled him aside to tell him to stop going easy.

@NationMffl Zach. Best defender on and off the ball on the wing on the team. Doesn’t need the ball in his hands to make a difference on offense. Rubs the floor well. Passes well. The guy is a hawk.
