Spring has sprung! Our classroom has been filled with such a new and bright light since the weather has been getting so nice! I am continually being surprised by the countless beautiful moments we get to experience as teachers!
During snack our class has been reading Song for a Whale by Lynne Kelly. With an increased interest in learning sign language, we have been learning a few signs to help us communicate with people who are deaf. For Valentine’s Day we learned “I love you”❤️
The smiles and laughter on this fun filled 100th day of school have been absolutely priceless! What a fantastic day to be a teacher! 👵🏼#100 #TEACH#school#100thday
The first week of third grade has been better than I could ever imagine! I already know this year is going to be filled with joy and fun! #thirdgrade#teacher#school#firstyear
I am excited to say I am half of the way through my Masters of Arts in Reading program at GCU and I could not be more excited to bring so many literacy strategies with me as the new school year begins! @gcu#literacy#reading#masters#gradschool#golopes
@JustJem24 I would love to make my 3rd grade classroom feel like home for my students! I just finished my first year teaching pre-k on Long Island, but a transition to a new school and new grade requires quite a different set up! I appreciate any support!!!

@MrMooreLeads Thank you for letting us share our lists!
My one item would be these daisy flower pillows! I would love to create a reading nook for my classroom next year and these would be such a fun touch!
Thank you!!!

It has been a few weeks now since I have wrapped up my first year teaching. I cannot even begin to describe how grateful I have been for such a wonderful first class. I'm so excited to take this summer to reflect and prepare for the upcoming year!🍎✏️
