When you book through zomato for dine-in offers, they won't disclose if what amount is going to be an offer handling fee, and so i'was charged a flat 500 rs fee on a super small bill of 2,000 rs, thats like 25%.
(Kindly read the entire thread and save yourself from hidden charges
@indialegalmedia would you like to take this matter forward with me? Lets set an example to these applications to think twice before bringing False sales practices

@carebydistrict As mentioned, charging is not an issue, but this should have been DISCLOSED clearly.
You just say a offer handling fee will be charged, nowhere mentioned how much ..thats incorrect..just bcus you use the word "An"..doesn't mean you can charge anything. FALSE SALES PRACTICE IT IS
When I spoke with support they literally had no grounds as they knew whats happening,
lets spread this message to maximum people so we let these Businesses know that they can't control us their way. This is honestly false sales and illegal.
As customers we want transarency, be it whatever the fees is, should be disclosed beforehad.
and other apps are not doing such false practices and so would recommend you all to use those applications and save those hidden fees.
I booked my table from zomato, nowhere did they DISCLOSED how much order handling fees will they charge neither in % nor in fix amount. When asked to the support team, they themselves have no grounds and just repeat "it varries it varries"
I paid 500 rs over a 2k rs bill ..sslyy
