Yes. And it will remain that way as long as we keep punching them when they show up.
@BrickCenter_ If Enes identifies as a woman, then we should be respecting her pronouns. And of course, that also means she will henceforth be ineligible to continue playing in the men's league.
You don't half-ass these things.
@sirjakk@Boenau Also, of course, the distance between where you are and where you want to go plays the biggest role. If it would take like 2+ hours to get there, then yeah, obviously you're not going to use the bike for your daily job commute.
@sirjakk@Boenau I mean we don't commonly use bikes to traverse the entire fricking country in the Netherlands, either.
The size of your country is not very relevant.
Now, infrastructure, that's the kicker.
@rati0logist So all in all, it kinda depends on your definition of a waffle. If you think the word "waffle" is purely reserved for "thicc bois" (i.e. Belgian waffles, potato waffles, etc.) then a stroopwafel probably does not apply. But the Dutch call it all the same.
@rati0logist Dutch person chiming in.
In Dutch we make no distinction between the word for "wafer" or "waffle".
They're both "Wafel", although a wafer may be given the "-(t)je" suffix as a diminutive.
ex.: wafel = waffle, wafeltje = small waffle
or: koek = cookie, koekje = small cookie
