doesn’t have a monster single like the rest of the ‘80s albums so i think it’s becoming underrated but i can’t imagine how shocking this was when it dropped. a tour de goddamn force and it’s just a half-hour.
@ajoneswilkins Question because I don't actually know the data, has strength of field changed at all with the changes to the Golden Tickets after the demise of the Ultra Trail World Tour?
@BillyYang I want to say that this years coverage was a large leap from even last year, so good I didn't want to leave the house to go spectate in Foresthill but did, then found half mile outside Foresthill at Bath Road I only had spotty cell coverage. It's remarkable what you pulled off.
@AGoldmund As someone who has been in media since the 80s those were the exact words that have been running through my head since I saw this headline, this tweet was for me.
@runner_kc @MelansonFinn Plus sometimes in your first ultra you get passed by Kaci on top of a beautiful ridge after she has run 20 miles more than you haha.
@djshadow I loved Ed's Records or whatever it was called, so much randomness in there and I only saw the upstairs. Endtroducing is easily on my top 10 list all time.
@kfippin Today on Debatable, ESPN's online show that replaced Highly Questionable, they had a pretty decent discussion about now non journalists dedicated to the take culture really aren't equipped for the nuance of reporting something like this takes.
@ajoneswilkins@UltraRunnerPod So I love the ability to watch the livestream it is amazing. But as someone who tries to get to Foresthill every year for 7 or 8 hours, nothing matches the energy of all of the runners, crews and fans coming together.
