Don't ever forget who stood with you when it was easier to stay silent.

Don't forget who kept raising their voice, who stood by members when there was nothing to gain, who took your calls, read your messages and kept fighting even when it attracted criticism. Don't forget people who term us as wannable neta and engagment merchants.

Today it's the Tax Audit extension. Tomorrow there will be another issue, another deadline, another fight. And when that happens, I hope we remember who stood with the profession when it actually mattered.

I may not agree with everyone, and everyone may not agree with me.

But one thing I can promise.. when I genuinely believe our members are being put through unnecessary hardship, I will continue to speak up.

Because ultimately, it's not about one person.

It's about the profession. It's about all of us...
