@idriveaclassic Better cars than they got credit for, BL quality issues notwithstanding. Part of the issue was the name. "Princess" lent itself to the Terry & June image. Ford had the bad-boy image: Capri, Cortina and Granada. The Sweeny wasn't going to show up in a Princess. Nor was CI5.

@ste_mega I had an ST, BITD, and suffered from a major case of Amiga-envy.

Finally got an Amiga 500 around 2016. Amazing machines for sure, but what struck me was how utterly unusable a single-disk Amiga is for anything than games.

TOS in ROM was a smart move.
