@JackFoster572@PolitlcsUK What a dumb comment made by someone who clearly doesn't understand the contribution that the arts make to Britain... not to mention our economy.

@MelJStride When the babyboomers are gone and the hold they have on your party ceases - how are you going to try and sell yourself to the millenials you took everything from?

ITV pulling zero punches in this incredible footage - "This landscape of destruction looks otherworldy, but it's not, it's this world - What is happening may come to define one of its darkest eras, one that casts a stain on humanity, which will endure for generations" #Gaza
Ooops, I made the mistake of scrolling through this shithole of a platform. The vile only continues. England centric, racist, Conservative rhetoric from people who've been ruined by Austerity and they don't even understand it. Lol.
I cannot think of a bigger disease to society than social media. I cannot think of a bigger social media disease than Twitter *sorry billy big bollocks Musk X*
These figures only paint a worsening picture of our national finances each year. TAX the rich, not the lowest earners. The top wealthiest 50 families in the UK have as much wealth combined as the bottom 50% of the population. This is what Austerity was all about.

🚨BREAKING
HMRC missed out on around £47bn in taxes — from errors, avoidance and evasion— according to its annual "Tax Gap" report, released today.
Here's why that is likely an underestimate, and why the real gap is likely to keep on growing...

As part of the 2024 pay talks, London Underground has agreed with ASLEF to bring forward a proposal that delivers a 34-hours a week roster, giving drivers an extra day off every week and 4½ hours fewer at work

Solidarity with striking bin workers in Birmingham!
Lib Dem Councillor Roger Harmer cluelessly declared that firefighters should step in and clear waste off the streets.
We're advising members not to carry out any strike-breaking work. The FBU are in full support of striking refuse workers.

There are lots of statistics bandied about from the Spring Statement but this is one of the starkest for me. The government’s own department of Work and Pensions has shown that the benefit cuts for disabled people will push 250,000 people into poverty.
Once an employer knows a neurodivergent employee is disabled, they must:
👐 Support them (including making reasonable adjustments)
🛡️ Protect them from disability discrimination (including harassment and victimisation).

I'm so vexed by people on social media who peddle climate change is a hoax / lie. Climate change is so blatantly obvious I can't help but wonder whether they are fake accounts??? How can it be possible to deny clear facts and social media platforms publish idiocy 😵💫
After months of hell dealing with an administrative error made by the @UniversityofLaw I’m now being told that I could fail my course due to mitigating circumstances for modules I haven’t even done yet. Shocking that departments in this Uni don’t seem to talk to each other.
@RedWallPleb@PolitlcsUK@guardian Homes are not investments. Insane they've been left vacant by neo-liberal idiots who have shafted working people so they can reap their portfolio investments and not work a day in their lives.
We talked about taking houses from Oligarchs to house Ukrainians - do that for Brits.
