@glevycordeiro Dá-lhe uns aninhos e vais ver essa "água do mar". Achas mesmo que em pleno late-stage do capitalismo, as empresas se vão dar ao trabalho de manter um recurso que corrói e obriga a uma manutenção agressiva?
@FACEIT_Darwin@tcislucky How about a premium feature that allows you to queue for a match where everyone is required to have their camera pointed at their setup? You could capture the camera data via the AC and use AI to check whether what is being captured is approved or not.
@fedupAlboz@stanzillaz@FACEIT_Darwin That is the point! Because websites do not have the ability to know what apps you have installed, so the website will try to establish a socket connection to see if you have the app installed/running or not!
@fedupAlboz@stanzillaz@FACEIT_Darwin Ok people already replied on this thread so I won't bother you further. The ws call you are seeing is to ping your LOCAL faceit desktop app. It is not a configuration issue like you state and it is working as intended.
@fedupAlboz@stanzillaz@FACEIT_Darwin Maybe instead of assuming things and rattling off terms you can draw a diagram? 😃 I just wanted to see your train of thought as you feel pretty confident on your assumptions.
@fedupAlboz@stanzillaz@FACEIT_Darwin You said that the issue relies on the devs not using env variables and therefore the localhost connection ended up in prod. I'm asking you what should the env variable be in this case in order for the website to connect to the desktop app.
