vulpes grumpes

Just a grumpy old fox doing grumpy old fox things.

[vulpes grumpes @GrumpyFox9]

@DIVIIDAE You gotta explain this one.
How are local governments gatekeeping housing?
They are already increasing property taxes which forces fixed income households to sell, adding to the market.

[vulpes grumpes @GrumpyFox9]

@PapageorgioWV @grok People with guns and a lot of ammo.

[vulpes grumpes @GrumpyFox9]

@amos_dulex Add killing spiders to that list.

[vulpes grumpes @GrumpyFox9]

@ClownWorld Ok, so disband the HOA. The homeowners association can vote to dissolve itself.

[vulpes grumpes @GrumpyFox9]

@TripleNetInvest That is some prime mosque real estate right there since that would exempt them from the massive property tax bill.

[vulpes grumpes @GrumpyFox9]

@_zifixx What government? Things would descend into species anarchy so fast it would take years if not decades for new nations to form.

[vulpes grumpes @GrumpyFox9]

@ohyikes123 You are only 21, it has just started to get miserable. Give it another decade.

[vulpes grumpes @GrumpyFox9]

@sneako When an entire continent still hasn't figured out farming, or had an iron age, let alone industrialization, you realize that just sending them food let them breed faster, from 300M to 1.5B without them being able to take care of themselves, an entire continent of dependents.

@noobiiitm @NeroFox_ @electric_floof From Google:
"Modern minivans typically offer a maximum payload capacity between 1,200 and 1,725 pounds (544 to 782 kg), which covers the combined weight of all passengers, cargo, and any tongue weight from a trailer."

[vulpes grumpes @GrumpyFox9]

@tanpukunokami Banning all religions is more like it.

[vulpes grumpes @GrumpyFox9]

@noobiiitm @NeroFox_ @electric_floof How many loads would your minivan need to make say... this double 8'x10' garden boxes, with the requisite 4 cu yards of black soil in addition to all the timbers?

[vulpes grumpes @GrumpyFox9]

@TinaSmithMN If the voter rolls have nothing to hide, let the US DoJ see them!

[vulpes grumpes @GrumpyFox9]

@NeroFox_ @electric_floof No, because my wife has landscaping aspirations, and it is not a spring without hauling 2-4 cubic yards of soil, at least 1/2 a dozen trees, and truck bed or 4 of mulch, fencing, timbers, etc.
Have 4.5 acres is a curse, not a blessing.

[vulpes grumpes @GrumpyFox9]

@exQUIZitely MoO2

[vulpes grumpes @GrumpyFox9]

@MinnesotaDFL Vote Republican to save the state.

[vulpes grumpes @GrumpyFox9]

@Timodc Its the truth.
Pre 11th century, Islam promoted science and progression.
Ever since the 11th century, the Islamic world turned its back on science and progress.

[vulpes grumpes @GrumpyFox9]

@darrelltalksfi There is never a housing crash in Monopoly, which is the way this fails in the real world.

[vulpes grumpes @GrumpyFox9]

@Say_JB_247 @dadinthecorner Depends on the kid really.
Maybe the kid has aspirations of the next level, but given the level of his answer, I would say he just wants to have fun playing hockey, in which case, this is a cruel question to ask.
