The circles are drawn in the same order each frame regardless of rotation. Here the 'first' circles happen to be closest and the drawing process seems more natural.
@zachlieberman Brent Wadden makes some great woven work that often looks like the result of a pixel sorting algo. Unsure if he uses computational methods though.
Spent a looong time on a super awkward edge detection function so I could rotate worry-free, but now I'm not sure I actually want to do rotations anymore...
@zachlieberman Do we know how "computationally" Albers was thinking with these? Did he use systems derived from weaving for instance or was his process more subjective in general?
