Last week, students from our Plant Breeding Student Group were able to visit the University of Georgia, Tifton campus for a tour of their breeding programs followed by the National Association of Plant Breeders Conference in beautiful Greenville, SC. The students were able to

meet faculty and learn about the breeding efforts for turfgrass, tall fescue, ornamental grasses, pine trees, pecan trees, muscadines, blueberries, peaches, and grain sorghum as well as attend scientific workshops and presentations related to plant breeding. A special thank you
