Police (@metpoliceuk) have launched a murder investigation following a fatal stabbing in Battersea. The male victim in his 20s was taken to hospital but died a short time later.

Two men, aged 28 and 38, have been arrested in connection with the incident, but police have not disclosed the grounds for the arrests at this time.

A man has been sentenced to jail for murdering Josh McKay (pic1) a father in front of his young child in a barbershop in Leyton in July 2024.

It was also disclosed that Belle has previous convictions for 55 offences between 2009 and 2023 including assault causing actual bodily harm, robbery and knife possession.

Two men have been found guilty of fatally stabbing Abdul Jalloh in Tower Hamlets over a drug deal.

Shamiah McKenzie 18 from lewisham was convicted of murder & Codee Godfrey, 19 from tower hamlets was convicted of manslaughter.

A bag police found £3,000 worth of cannabis, £2,000 in cash, a vacuum sealing machine to package drugs and business cards containing their phone number.

Both will be sentenced on 20th of June.

Disappointed beyond measure w/ @hmvtweets event management. Despite queuing for @twotwofficial signing 30mins early, with others, it took over 1.5 hours for the queue to first move & no comms or updates. Result - 2.5 hours queuing, to then have to leave to get a train. Gutted.
