@aliciaandrz I’m a newly retired teacher. When I first started teaching we didn’t have these drills. I don’t remember when they started exactly, but I can still remember that day, sitting on the floor in the dark with my 6th graders and crying bc I couldn’t believe this was our reality.

@aliciaandrz I try to go for a walk every day. I tell myself that I just have to go around the block and I can come home. Inevitably, the walk is a lot longer but that little trick gets me out the door!

NYT video analysis is pretty definitive. He was out of the path of the vehicle when he fired, the tires were clearly turned to the right, and the President and others are relying on the poorest quality clip to argue he was struck by the vehicle. He wasn’t.
