Reporter: Abhijeet sir, you keep saying India needs a young PM and that Narendra Modi is not fit. On what basis are you saying this?

Abhijeet Dipke: See, India is a young country. Average age is 28-29. Modi is 75. How can old leaders understand youth problems? We need young energy.

Reporter: Okay. Then tell me one thing — who elected him? The same young voters you talk about. In 2014, 2019 and 2024, people of India gave him clear majority.

Abhijeet Dipke: I am not talking about election. I am talking about fitness. He is making reels, acting like influencer…

Reporter: So according to you, if a leader connects with youth through social media, he becomes unfit? Then every young leader who uses Instagram should also leave politics? And you yourself became famous only because of social media. Is that also wrong?

Abhijeet Dipke: No, no… I mean he should leave the chair and become full-time influencer.

Reporter: Interesting. You worked with AAP for years. Did you ever say the same thing about Arvind Kejriwal when he was getting older? Or only when the leader is from BJP? Why this selective talk?

Abhijeet Dipke: I am talking about system. Paper leaks happened, unemployment is there…

Reporter: Paper leak is a serious issue, no doubt. But after protests, the Education Minister resigned. That is accountability. Now tell me — in the last 10 years, how many free houses, toilets, gas connections, bank accounts and vaccination drives happened under this government? Can you deny these numbers, or will you only talk about problems and ignore all work?

Abhijeet Dipke: Work is there but youth is frustrated…

Reporter: Frustration is real but frustration alone does not make someone the next PM. You are asking for young leadership. Fine. Then name three young leaders from your side who have run a state, managed a budget of lakhs of crores handled national security or won people’s trust in multiple elections. Can you name even one?

Abhijeet Dipke: We need to create that space…

Reporter: Exactly,First create that space through hard work and elections. Don’t just sit on social media and declare that the elected PM is not fit. Democracy is not decided by who speaks louder. It is decided by who people vote for. Right now people have already given their answer three times. Your opinion is fine but it is still just an opinion.

A hero of 2018, 2024 and 2026 is no more.

R. Rajesh of Kalliyoor, Thiruvananthapuram, was a rescue volunteer and rappelling instructor who answered the call of duty whenever Keralam needed him.

He stepped forward during the 2018 floods. He was among the rescuers during the Wayanad landslide tragedy in 2024. And in 2026, he made the ultimate sacrifice.

After giving his own life jacket to save a stranded farmer from the swollen Kariangode River in Kannur, Rajesh was swept away by the currents.

His courage, selflessness and sacrifice will forever be a part of Keralam's story.

My deepest condolences to his wife Smt. Lekshmi, his two young sons Arshan and Abhishek, his parents Shri Rajasekharan and Smt. Geetha, and all those who loved him.

I pray that his family finds the strength to bear this immeasurable loss.

Just spoke to someone who is taking his insurer to court over unending price hikes in health insurance,

He bought 50 L floater health insurance for parents for Rs. 60K in 2011.

In 2026, the premium shot up to an absurd 5 Lakhs (Father: 71, Mother: 70)

That jump came through back to back hikes of 54% and 12% (net of zero GST) in two consecutive years.

He can still afford it. That's not the point.
He wants the court to answer HOW FAR THESE HIKES CAN GO?

Told him he is doing public service for lakhs of senior citizens in India affected by this.

Reporter - Sir, many children of Delhi Police officers were also crying on national tv after their fathers were beaten and hospitalised. You haven't addressed any of them but when it is your father, you are focused only on him. Can you imagine what those kids went through?

Everyone remembers the attack on the Mumbai railway station on 26/11, the gunmen walking the platforms, more than fifty people killed. Almost nobody remembers the announcer whose voice sent hundreds of strangers running the other way while the bullets were still flying.

His name is Vishnu Dattaram Zende.

On the night of 26 November 2008, he was on duty in the announcer's cabin at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, a raised glass room looking out over the platforms. It was near the end of his shift when he heard a loud blast and gunfire, and saw people running.

Two terrorists had walked into the busiest station in the country and begun shooting everyone in sight. At that station alone, they would kill more than fifty people.

From his cabin he could see the whole layout, and he understood something fast. Local trains were still pulling in, each one about to pour hundreds of passengers straight onto the platforms where the gunmen were standing.

He had a microphone that reached every platform. He decided to use it, even though it meant staying exactly where he was, in full view, instead of hiding.

He began making announcements, over and over, in Hindi and Marathi, telling people not to come to the main concourse, telling them to leave by the rear exits, warning them away from the guns.

Hundreds of people changed direction because of that voice and walked out of the station instead of into the bullets.

The terrorists worked out where the announcements were coming from. They came and stood almost directly below his cabin. One of them fired up toward him. He kept low, waited, and when he could, went back to the microphone.

He was an ordinary railway announcer on an ordinary shift. He had no weapon and no protection, just a mic and a clear view of what was coming. He stayed at his post and used the one tool he had to push strangers out of the path of the killers.

The men with the rifles are the names everyone remembers from that station. The voice that quietly saved hundreds of the people they came to kill belonged to Vishnu Zende.

According to his son, Shahid Rafi, this happened around 1971–72, when Rafi was about 40 years old. During his second Hajj pilgrimage, a maulana reportedly told him:
"Rafi Saab, singing is a great sin (gunaah). Allah will not forgive you."
Rafi, known for his deep faith and humility, was profoundly shaken.

On returning to Mumbai, he quietly announced that he was retiring from singing. He avoided publicity, moved to London for a period, and told his family that he would not sing again because he believed he had displeased God.

Ironically, it was another Islamic scholar in London who persuaded him otherwise. The cleric reportedly told Rafi that God had blessed him with an extraordinary voice, and that using this gift honestly to earn a livelihood and bring joy to millions was not a sin. Music director Naushad also encouraged him to return to playback singing.

By the time Rafi resumed singing, some producers had already shifted to other singers, especially Kishore Kumar. This later gave rise to the popular belief that Rafi had been "pushed aside" by changing trends. His son, however, has said that his father's own voluntary withdrawal due to religious doubts was a major reason for that gap in his career.
