To boost India’s competitiveness in global seafood markets, BCD on Frozen Fish Paste (Surimi) was reduced from 30% to 5% for manufacture and export of analogue products. BCD on fish hydrolysate for fish and shrimp feed reduced from 15% to 5%.

To facilitate handicraft exports, the time limit for export was extended from six months to one year, further extendable by three months if required. Nine additional items have also been added to the list of duty-free inputs.
