@DTE_Energy@DTE_Energy If you were serious about the environment you would spend more on line maintenance in places like Livonia: the number of carbon-spewing gasoline-powered generators running around the clock in our neighborhood (no power since 10:30 pm Thursday) is certainly not good.
@DTE_Energy 60 hours and counting. Seems like a better job could be done on line maintenance so these problems don’t occur as often as they do (e.g., two days last month)
@DTE_Energy How useful is it to text one morning power will be restored that day, then another 24 hours later saying the same thing? Don’t you have field reports and a cloud-based database so you could automatically generated updates 3 times a day for your customers?
Shouldnt a technologically advanced company that has commercially supplied power since the mid-19th century be able to provide granularity and updates to when power will be restored? @DTE_Energy
While some OEMs are having issues regarding #ElectricVehicles, @GM announced the Dealer Community Charging program to leverage dealer community involvement to install Level 2 chargers in their locales. Chargers to be built by @FLO
With my electrical power out for 36 hours so far, @DTE_Energy , it seems the company is ill adapted to handling the transition to #ElectricVehicles . Perhaps that’s why the #FordLightning can charge homes: the Ford engineers have @DTE_Energy too. Sad service
Evergrande, which is having some financial difficulties, is putting out a sub-$28K EV in China. Does any OEM really make money on EVs (stock valuations aside)?
Strange how gas prices are going down (still high, but lower) and there isn't coverage on the local news with people filling the tanks of their full-size SUVs with shock replaced by a slight smile.
Biden plans 50% electric vehicles by 2030. Will @DTE_Energy celebrate with random static displays of uncharged Mach-Es and Cadillac Lyriqs throughout the summer of 2030?
@DTE_Energy: doesn’t the breadth of the power outages and the length of time to bring power back show the fragility of the system? Yes a powerful storm but not like a sustained hurricane or huge weather event. And not the 1st time this summer.
People complain about having “Covid fatigue.” The only ones who deserve to say that are the stalwarts who tirelessly work in hospitals—and they don’t. Think about them the next time you see a crowd of mask-less people.
Greatest Deliberative Body in the world or a pack of self-interested lickspittles who are more interested in their jobs than their honor? (Remember honor?)
