NEW: A partially unused boat texture in RDR2’s game files has been discovered. Interestingly, it reveals that a ship was originally called “The Leonida”.

It appears as if Rockstar might’ve initially intended to tease GTA 6 in RDR2? Either that, or this was where they got the inspiration for the name from. I think either scenario is just as likely.

The other unused ship names are “The Emily Bell” and “Moses T Prescott”. I wonder if those are references to something as well?

This is an insanely cool find. Crazy how things are still being discovered.
