I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Ovation Media for an interview, and it was a fantastic conversation! We delved into my journey, and what resonated with me was how much focus we placed on the early days – a time that truly shaped who I am today.

As many of you might know, my path wasn't always linear. But there was a defining moment in my teenage years that sparked a fire within me. It all started with a book: Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki.

This book wasn't just informative, it was transformative. It opened my eyes to a whole new world of financial literacy, asset building, and the power of taking control of your future. It ignited a passion for creating my path and achieving financial independence.

Rich Dad, Poor Dad wasn't the only book that influenced me, of course. Throughout my teenage years, I devoured books on entrepreneurship, personal development, and achieving success. Each book added a piece to the puzzle, shaping my mindset and equipping me with the knowledge I needed to navigate the world of business.

That hunger for knowledge, fueled by those early inspirations, has been a constant driving force in my life. It's pushed me to learn, to grow, and to constantly seek out new opportunities.

The interview with Ovation Media was a great opportunity to share this pivotal chapter in my story. It's a reminder that sometimes, all it takes is a spark – a book, a conversation, an idea – to set you on a path to incredible things.

It's permissible to be born into poverty, but it's entirely your responsibility if you perpetuate it through another generation. Truly, it is!

Once, a man lamented to me, "I am simply unlucky to have been born into such a destitute family." I regarded him with pity and shook my head. Why? Because what he uttered was nothing but rubbish—a feeble excuse from a defeated individual.

The pressing question is: does being born into poverty dictate a lifetime sentence of destitution? The answer is resounding: no.

Even during his earthly mission, Jesus Christ acknowledged that the poor would always be among us. However, what truly matters is your determination to eradicate poverty from your lineage. How? Put in the work! Strive relentlessly!

Don't allow your background to keep you grounded. Rise up! Be the person who refuses to succumb to life's blows.
