@FullenkampAlex@Case_IH Agree 10000%. We are all red, tractors, combines, sprayer, but the @Case_IH AFS division is a joke. They are always trying to play catch up with the others.
Why does the @Case_IH Pro1200 monitor suck so bad? How can you screw up something so bad? Why is there no skip function? I love having 25k different lines stored in my display for quick choosing. Fucking morons. I’d love to rip this thing out and throw it on the interstate.
@markede05626239@Case_IH No, it’s not operator. It works most of the time and steers the tractor, but the engineering design and some of the software features (or lack thereof) are absolutely bananas.
@MaxROIFarmer@NelsDer@allifarm@Case_IH How? We only have 1 tractor with a 1200 so I don’t run it every day, but I have yet to find what I’m looking for.
@NelsDer@allifarm@Case_IH As much as I hate the 700, at least it worked. The 1200 feels like an old MS-DOS computer with a flashy new screen. It’s pitiful you need it to run the tractor because it would be outside in the field today had it not been needed.
@NelsDer@allifarm@Case_IH Well if I don’t want to drive my 36 row planter down the ditch to finish off the field edge, I need to move it. No it does not have a temporary shift. It makes an entirely new line, unless you overwrite, the original, and now your original is gone.
@NelsDer@allifarm@Case_IH We have 12, 24,36, and 72 row equipment. With the Pro1200 junk, I have to have lines for each implement, unless I want to remark every single line, every time I’m in the field.
@NelsDer@allifarm@Case_IH Trimble has a skip feature that we use all the time. If I want to move over 12 rows to finish the edge of a field, I can “skip” the line however far I want. And when I’m done with that line it goes away. In the Pro1200, it creates an entirely new line and saves them all.
@allifarm@Case_IH Yes I have boundaries, made them with my FMX. The 1200 has many more issues than just a no skip feature (which is fucking stupid, it’s 2026). BUT I CAN LOOK UP MY MPG on my tractor, because that’s relevant info.
@Yard25@Case_IH I’d rather swallow a package of thumb tacks than be forced to buy a subscription from Deere to wipe my ass. “$1 per sheet, but it’s only 98 cents per sheet if you buy the whole roll up front!”
THREE @NorthDakotaDOT vehicles watching a company cut out bad areas and re-pour new crete in one city block in Drayton ND on old 44. SURELY that’s a good use of our taxpayer dollars.
@awlessard@jasonmauck1 Burnt one a few years ago. Drug it to a corner out of the way. Insurance wanted $1000 for it to scrap it out. Scrapper wanted $1000 to come pick it up and to take the steel for free. It’s getting cleaned up in the spring somehow, sick of looking at it.
