Salah satu perang anti-korupsi terbesar di China adalah perang melawan korupsi di militer.

Pemerintah China sangat syok dengan kemenangan besar Amerika di Perang Teluk 1991. Alasannya, setelah dilakukan investigasi, ternyata militer China 6-7 bobroknya dengan militer Iraq.

Ternyata, jenderal-jenderal dan perwira lapangan militer China yang gabut bukannya fokus pada modernisasi dan perkuatan pertahanan, melaikan sibuk dan asyik menyalahgunakan kekuasaan untuk merampok dana alusista, memungli, memalak, dan bermain di BUMN dan real estate spekulatif.

Kualitas tentara dan alusista China dibiarkan jelek, primitif, liar, dan berkarat seperti segerombolan preman. Apabila tentara Amerika yang profesional, disiplin, bersih, dan berteknologi canggih menyerang saat itu juga, China akan langsung kalah dan hancur.

Selama beberapa dekade, militer China pun berusaha direformasi dengan sabar dan konsisten. Reformasinya masih berlangsung hingga hari ini.

Jenderal-jenderal tua di China dipecat massal karena korupsi dan karena sudah menjadi boomer tua pikun yang bodoh, belagu, gaptek, tidak kreatif, lamban, dan ketinggalan zaman.

Mereka sedang dibasmi dan diganti dengan perwira-perwira muda yang lebih terdidik, profesional, disiplin, gesit, nasionalis, serta pakar dalam teknologi robot dan drone dan AI. Reformasi militer ini sedang dikebut karena China sangat berambisi menaklukkan Taiwan dan Laut Natuna Utara secara total.
