Today, Elon Musk, a trillionaire, pays the same amount into Social Security as someone making $184,500.
If we end that absurdity and lift the cap on taxable income, we can make Social Security solvent for 75 years and expand benefits by $2,400. My Social Security bill does that.
An open letter to Kylian Mbappe ahead of the World Cup :
Dear Kylian, I’m honored to call myself a big fan of yours. Words alone can’t explain how much grateful I am to call myself your biggest fan. Ethan and Fayza thinks they love you more than I do, but that’s one of the lies they tell themselves everyday.
Kylian I was there when you were born into the game and I swore that you would be a superstar. I was there that night against Man city, I was there again against Dortmund, also I was there when your only goal couldn’t save Monaco from Juventus in 2017.
In 2018 I placed high hopes on you and you delivered. You should be there to see my reaction when you scored that brace against Argentina. Also, you clearly don’t want to know what i did to myself when you became the only teenager aside Pele to score in a World Cup final. I bet you don’t wanna know.
Since then you elevated from a Toyota to a Bugatti. Kyky you didn’t look back, you left all your competitors at the time behind and you took off, your determination and dedication to the game is unmatched. Your sheer talent and ability to read in between the lines to know exactly when to capitalize on every single opportunity is what makes you exceptional.
Despite the setbacks, you’ve stood your ground without feeling any iota of fear within, and that makes people like me very confident and optimistic about what you are capable of achieving, both individually and collectively.
Kylian you’ve become a victim of your own standards. Those they compared to you way back couldn’t cope with the pressure of being the best, they couldn’t stand out like you did, they hid when the storm was raging, they were washed away by the heavy rains, they beat themselves up when they were faced with criticisms, but you Kylian, you showed us how strong you are, how mentally strong you are and how intelligent you are emotionally.
You gave the impression that you belong to the game and mere criticism can’t take away your confidence, by your actions you showed that you are not just amongst the bests but you are in the conversations of the elites, I mean the very greats in the game. Your numbers and achievements speaks for themselves, but in case they don’t know I can make it louder and clearer.
As it stands, in this generation you are the Lewis Hamilton, the Rafa Nadal or better still the Le Bron James of the beautiful game. Your aura is unmatched and everyone knows that, your influence is immense and your talent is undeniable.
You’ve stood strong amidst the chaos which shows how much of a leader you are. Those who have amnesia tends to forget what you’ve done for them and throws you under the bus with every little opportunity they get. But you are not affected by their loser actions because you idolize a mentality monster.
Today, just now, this time, I want to tell you that you are not alone. There are thousands of me who are cheering on you like never before. And we’re are truly proud of you,we adore you and we love you.
As you begin to take charge of your first major tournament as a team captain, every Kylian fan and I wish you all the best of luck and successes in the world, that you gather strength and courage to fight for us and the whole of France, even though some of them are against you.
It’s that time of the year again and we know what you’re truly capable of. We believe you will bring it home again and we are cheering on you from all over the world.
Go and make us proud my boy. @KMbappe
Let’s go Kyky, let’s goooooooo 🇫🇷❤️🔥
Shaq: "When you were down 29 did any doubt creep in your mind?"
Jalen Brunson: "I thought about it…you're allowed to think about the worst possible scenario––but you gotta go out there and do something about it"
One of the most horrifying scenes in modern human history.
Thousands of starving people in Gaza were forced to gather flour mixed with sand amid a devastating famine and desperate shortages.
A heartbreaking reminder of human suffering and a moment the world must never forget.
