The strikeout itself is not equal either.

You see patient players who rarely swing at pitches outside the zone work to deep counts vs free swingers who face fewers pitches.

Both can be true.

For a hitter, K is just an out. Its limiting to a point, though if striking out more results in hitting the ball harder, you maximize the times you do hit it.

For a pitcher, strikeouts rarely turn into a batter on base. ~27% of ball in play (not including homers) turn into hits.

@StevePalazzolo_ This rule should be guided by the quality of catching. Select programs can go younger but for HL you should see that number trned higher. Even 12/13U HL should consider strike 3 out.

@Phil71v @ImmaGonnaWeen Irrelevant. He's still alleged, so he gets his day in court. I don't assume anything here. I don't know enough about the case. However, he's facing charges for violent crimes, so until that is resolved, this is how it should be.
