@PeteATurner@CoachTimOlson1 Thats the limiting factor. At some point striking out too much is problem.
The strikeout itself is not equal either.
You see patient players who rarely swing at pitches outside the zone work to deep counts vs free swingers who face fewers pitches.
Both can be true.
For a hitter, K is just an out. Its limiting to a point, though if striking out more results in hitting the ball harder, you maximize the times you do hit it.
For a pitcher, strikeouts rarely turn into a batter on base. ~27% of ball in play (not including homers) turn into hits.
Your thinking they're not a good team is the problem.
Among the leaders in injuries this year, yet still right there in the wildcard chase.
Pre-season contenders like the Mets, Tigers and Royals who have suffered similar injury setbacks would love to be where the Jays are now.
@MitchBannon Perfect spot to see what Yesavage has as a starter and build on his growth. These fans think the manager knows when a guy is going to have a bad inning.
@Pirates_Insight@GMBCSuperfan@JeffPassan These "missing" players not drafted are still available to be signed to a minor league contract after being passed over. The good players will still be found.
@thejaysnation No doubt they can do it. For how bad it's been, they are only a few games out in the wild card. There has been a lot of parity in the league this season.
@tommym8 At set, holding the ball fingers on top of the ball versus holding a cup (side) changes the tension in the arm. I'm curious which you think is which in the video.
Could change be related to feeling soreness?
@PaulStewartII This is good politicking to appease the American administration. It doesn't minimize the potential for the Streisand-effect to take hold.
@StevePalazzolo_ This rule should be guided by the quality of catching. Select programs can go younger but for HL you should see that number trned higher. Even 12/13U HL should consider strike 3 out.
@Phil71v@ImmaGonnaWeen Irrelevant. He's still alleged, so he gets his day in court. I don't assume anything here. I don't know enough about the case. However, he's facing charges for violent crimes, so until that is resolved, this is how it should be.
