PILU CIBIRU EXPERIENCE -
Kunto Ali
.
Kami mencoba menghibur sahabat kita yg sedang sedih karena hamster peliharaannya meninggal. Dibantu jua oleh pakar pelipur lara..
Indonesians jarang bagi ilmu and help each other -- that's why we never grow:
Gua baru dinner sama founder di San Francisco yang hit $500K (Rp 9 miliar) dalam 6 bulan.
Yang bikin kaget: dia share semua strategi/playbook dia ke gua, orang yang baru dia kenal.
In my experience, this rarely happens in Indo.
We don't share learnings and always keep insights to ourselves.
Bisa dipaham kenapa -- orang takut lo jadi kompetitor, gengsi, dan competition is tough.
Tapi justru itu yang bikin kita stuck:
Kompetisi keras → orang gak mau share → fewer people succeed →
market tetap kecil → kompetisi makin keras.
Kalo orang mau kolaborasi, more people will succeed and the pie gets larger.
Kalo gak, pie-nya tetap kecil dan kita cuman rebutan terus.
mau beli sepatu badminton berbulan2 maju mundur, udah kepengen dari lama, paling mentok masukin keranjang akhirnya enggak jadi 😅
tapi begitu anak bilang "pi aku belum pernah main salju, mau kaya nastya main salju berdua sama papinya yuk pii kita main salju. dimana ya pi ada salju???"
jyahhh elahh pake alesan main berdua sama papinya lagi, dia tau kelemahan saya.
aku dengan kesadaran penuh langsung cari2 tiket, cari2 info, dan buat passport.
saya udah diingetin istri kalau anak saya udah tau kelemahan saya, saya harus lebih berhati2 🥲
semoga Allah selalu mudahkan rezeki kita yg berusaha selalu membahagiakan keluarga ya 🥲😅
the smartest people I’ve met are all self-taught.
not because school failed them; but because school wasn’t enough.
they went beyond the syllabus, broke things, built things, read papers they didn’t understand; and stuck around until they did.
self-teaching isn’t rebellion.
it’s obsession.
it’s when curiosity eats structure alive.
you stop asking “what’s on the test?”
and start asking “why does the universe work like this?”
the truth is; nobody’s going to spoon-feed you mastery.
you’ll have to steal it.
read. build. fail. repeat.
that’s the curriculum of every great mind.
