@shmariahu Still early, but the fidgets are winning: Light Switch, Quad Spinner, and Infinity Trace have been opened by the most people so far. Steady Pulse and Drip to Stillness are close behind.
One of the simplest tools in guidEase: Name It.
You get a category and name as many things as you can. No timer, no score, no wrong answers.
When your brain is spiraling, sometimes the best regulation tool is giving it one small, easy job.
Itโs free, and like all 33 coping tools, it works offline.
what would you have added? ๐

First paid subscriber for guidEase. October 26, 18 days after launch.
1 down, about 199 to go until it covers rent.
Whoever you are: thank you. I built this for brains like mine, and someone decided it was worth paying for.
It's automatic. Turn on Reduce Motion in iOS and the tools switch on their own, no setting in the app. In Fireflies, the flies stop drifting and light up one at a time instead. Its Speed setting (Slow, Gentle, Lively) still sets the pace, and the haptics stay on when reduced motion is on.
In guidEase, I designed a still version for each of the 22 animated coping tools.
For the fireflies, ambient motion stops, instructional motion stays, and haptic feedback still works.
The goal wasn't to remove the experience. It was to make the experience work for more people.
Normal vs. Reduce Motion: fireflies.

Most journaling apps treat an entry as a finished thought.
But what if you understand the experience differently three days later?
I built Reanalyze into guidEase so you can revisit an entry, add what you understand now, and generate a new analysis without losing the previous ones. Each version is saved and encrypted separately. V1, V2, V3. Your understanding can evolve without overwriting where you started.
Building for brains that process things in their own time.

All 10 of my App Store screenshots came from one Python script I prompted @claudeai to build.
I took the real screenshots on my phone. The script handles the layout: phone frames, captions, pop-outs, everything.
Change one number and all 10 frames reflow automatically.
Build it once. Iterate everywhere.

@0xgolam@claudeai Only when a screen changes. I swap in the new phone screenshot and rerun the script. The layout, captions and pop-outs all rebuild, so it takes minutes instead of an afternoon in Figma.
@thomasroux@claudeai It shrinks to fit. Each caption starts at 88pt and drops 2pt at a time until it fits in 4 lines. It doesnโt warn. I check readability by eye on the contact sheet, and short captions are the real fix.
Infinity Trace and VoiceOver wanted the same finger: a one-finger drag.
With VoiceOver on, the tool says:โจโIt needs the same dragging gesture VoiceOver uses, so it cannot be started while VoiceOver is on.โ
