Props to Paraguay, they made life genuinely difficult for France. Brought chaos, and France couldn't handle it. First team to really trouble them defensively: shutting down the half-spaces, doubling up on the wingers out wide, denying central progression, clearing danger quickly, and transitioning sharply both positively/negatively.

They made France look blunt, and never once looked afraid of them. Didn't care about names, reputations, or history. Just got on with the job.

La historia del NUEVO HÉROE de Paraguay es de esas que EMOCIONAN. En 2023, Orlando Gill todavía estaba en la Segunda División de Paraguay. Su hijo Lauti acababa de nacer, tuvo complicaciones de salud y, para solventar los gastos médicos, tuvo que vender camisetas que había guardado de recuerdo, como la del Sudamericano U20 y algunos jerseys de su club. No había nada claro, ni en el fútbol ni en su vida personal. Sin embargo, junto a su mujer y su bebé, no dejó de luchar.

En 2024, Orlando se mudó a Argentina para jugar en San Lorenzo de Almagro. Llegó al equipo reserva, sin nada seguro. Se ganó su lugar. Se abrió la puerta del primer equipo. Y después de verlo destacar en Argentina, Gustavo Alfaro lo llevó a la Selección de Paraguay.

Debutó en La Albirroja hace menos de 1 año. Se presentó en la Copa del Mundo con solo 6 partidos internacionales a nivel absoluto. Orlando Gill’s roar after saving two penalties against Germany and sending Paraguay through to the Round of 16 carries an incredible story behind it.

Just two years ago, he was playing for the reserve team of San Lorenzo in Argentina. He was an overlooked goalkeeper with little recognition, and he and his family were struggling financially.

His wife later revealed that when their son, Lautaro, was born, they had almost nothing. Orlando had to sell all of his training gear, his goalkeeper boots, and even the Paraguay U-20 jersey he once proudly wore just to help cover their son’s expenses.

Then everything changed.

Exactly one year ago, Orlando received his first-ever call-up to the Paraguay national team. Now, in his very first World Cup, he has become his country’s hero by saving two penalties against Germany and leading Paraguay to the Round of 16 for the first time since 2010.

Today, Paraguay did something truly historic.

El que cobra por no usar IA

Matías es diseñador freelance, vive en Palermo, tiene 34 años. Desde enero subió sus precios un 40%.

Su pitch nuevo dice una sola línea: "Garantía 100% humano. Sin IA en ninguna etapa del proceso".

Tiene lista de espera de 3 meses. Sus clientes son marcas de lujo, estudios de abogados, bodegas premium. Gente que necesita poder decir que lo suyo lo hizo una persona.

Para demostrarlo graba todo su proceso en time-lapse. 8 horas de Photoshop sin atajos, capa por capa, en video. Lo entrega junto con el archivo final como "certificado de autenticidad".

Sus colegas lo putean en los grupos de Discord. Dicen que es marketing barato, que la IA es una herramienta más, que es como pelearse con la calculadora.

Matías no contesta. Está cobrando el doble que ellos.

En 2026 lo hecho a mano va a ser el nuevo lujo. Como la madera maciza contra el melamina. Como el café de especialidad contra el Nescafé. Como el sastre contra Zara.

El que entendió esto primero, ganó.

En Finlandia, los padres enseñan a los niños una regla antes de dormir, y evita el 80 % de la ansiedad en la adolescencia más adelante en la vida.

Se llama "la hora de la preocupación", pero no es lo que imaginas.

No les dicen a los niños que dejen de preocuparse. Les enseñan cuándo y dónde pertenece la preocupación.

Así es como funciona:

Cada noche, 30 minutos antes de ir a la cama, el niño recibe un cuaderno. Durante exactamente 15 minutos, escribe todo lo que ese día le dió miedo, le estresó o quedó sin resolver.
Luego cierra el cuaderno.

Y la regla es absoluta: las preocupaciones se quedan en el cuaderno hasta la sesión del día siguiente.

Un psicólogo finlandés lo explicó así:

"No reprimimos la ansiedad. Le damos un contenedor. El cerebro del niño aprende que la preocupación tiene un tiempo y un lugar y la hora de dormir no es uno de ellos,"

A los 12 años, la mayoría de los niños ya ni siquiera necesitan el cuaderno.

Han interiorizado el límite.

El cambio ocurre porque el cerebro deja de tratar cada preocupación como una emergencia.
No es "no pienses en ello", sino “pensarás en ello, pero no ahora".

Ese pequeño retraso rompe el bucle de la ansiedad.

El niño duerme. La preocupación pierde fuerza. Y con el tiempo, la mayoría de esos miedos ni siquiera vuelven a la página.

La mayoría de los padres intentan resolver los problemas de sus hijos o les dicen "todo irá bien".
Pero la verdadera fortaleza emocional no es eliminar el miedo, es aprender que puedes sostenerlo sin dejar que te controle.

Los niños que crecen con límites alrededor de su preocupación se convierten en adultos que no entran en espiral a las 2 de la madrugada. (pico de cortisol)
