“It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, among whom I am foremost.” 1 Tim. 1:15 (NASB)
What we lose when the Bible is only on a screen:
1. You remember where the verse lives on the page and aids memorization.
2. The page shows you much more at once. You see the context, not just a few verses at once.
3. The page keeps your notes. Years from now they will still be there, in your own hand.
4. The page cannot distract you with a notification. It only asks to be read.
5. The page is something your children watch you open and they know it’s the Bible.
The screen gives much. The page gives more.
In this video, the Kimyal people of Papua pray with joy and tears to the Lord, thanking Him for giving them the Word of God in their native language. Through the labors of missionary Elinor Young, a young woman who was crippled by polio at the age of five, these Kimyals were able to receive copies of God’s Word. This video shows the moments right after the Bibles were unloaded from the plane and given to the Kimyals.
A Kimyal pastor, Siud, prays:
“O God, O God. The plan which you had from the beginning, regarding your Kimyals, which already existed in your Spirit. The month that you had set, the day that you had set, has come to pass today. O my Father, my Father. The promise that you gave Simeon that he would see Jesus Christ and hold Him in his arms before he died. I also have been waiting under that same promise, O God. You looked at all the different languages and chose which ones will be put into Your Word. You thought that we should see Your Word in our language. Today, the day you had chosen for this to be fulfilled, has come to pass. O God, today, you have placed Your Word into my hands, just like you promised. You have placed it here in our land. And for all this, O God, I give You praise. Amen.”

J.C. Ryle (1816-1900) -
"Time is short, and is passing quickly away: yet a few years, and we shall be all dead and gone. The trees perhaps are already cut down out of which our coffins will be made: the winding-sheets perhaps are woven which will surround our bodies; the spades perhaps are made that will dig our graves. Eternity draws near. There ought to be no trifling. What, what is your hope about your soul?"
May it be found in Christ, and Christ ALONE.
Let me make this statement very clearly and very carefully.
It is sinful (and hence will be judged by God in eternity) to rebel against His created order.
The brand new, barely out of the box insanity called "transgenderism" is a rebellion against the created order and is fundamentally disordered, destructive, and damaging to all involved.
The British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal (BCHRT), by fining a man three quarters of a million dollars for publicly asserting that there are only two genders (a fundamental reality of human existence that only a brain-washed moral pygmy can deny), has placed itself in direct opposition to God's clear truth and the reality of the created order. The action of this body is sinful, rebellious, and libel to judgment. What is more, the individuals on this board themselves are engaging in sinful, rebellious actions, and will be held personally accountable before the judgment bar of God.
And finally, brothers and sisters, in a very, very short time, barring an amazing intervention of grace and an outpouring of true, divine repentance in this nation, we will be facing this same moral evil in the wholly corrupted judicial system.
