Quand on parle du système solaire on entend parfois que la Terre est la plus massive des planètes telluriques. En revanche on entend moins souvent le fait qu'elle soit plus massive que TOUTES les autres planètes telluriques combinées, donc j'ai fais une illu pour montrer ça 🪐🌍

Most of the time, France use hydro, not much natural gas. 2022 was an exception, not the rule.
Maintenance on NPP are done during summer when the electricity demand is a lot lower. So no need to replace it by anything.

@JessePeltan But you must take into account the capacity (or charge factor?) factor. Solar works at 10-15% of maximum capacity, and nuclear is closer to 80-90% when used for base load.
This means that 1GW of nuclear is equivalent to 6-9GW of solar.
