“Nothing products featuring BTS’s V as their ambassador are proving hugely popular, with several items selling out.

British tech brand Nothing announced that after selecting V as its global ambassador on September 29, three products worn by V in the promotional photos sold out at 15 retailers worldwide.

The Headphone (1) Pro, Headphone (a), and Ear (3) sold out on Nothing’s official website as well as at retailers in the UK, Canada, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, and other countries. On the same day, V reached a peak Google Trends search score of 100—the maximum possible—across more than 60 countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom, while searches for Nothing increased by more than 200%.

On X, #VxNOTHING, #TAEHYUNGxNOTHING, and “Nothing Headphones (1) Pro” ranked first, second, and fourth respectively on the worldwide real-time trends. A total of 374,000 related posts were generated, while an Instagram Reel introducing V as Nothing’s global ambassador received 14.14 million views.

Meanwhile, Nothing posters featuring V’s promotional photos were distributed at four locations in Tokyo, Japan. Japanese business weekly Toyo Keizai explained, “An unusually long line stretching more than 200 meters formed in Harajuku, Tokyo. Foreign tourists were taking photos and even asking what the line was for. The long line formed because a special extra edition newspaper announcing that Nothing had selected V as its ambassador was being distributed.””
