Bitcoin Cycle Top #1
#Bitcoin ist absolut on fire!
@seb_sebsn@LarsPeterke @ppica_ That’s interesting. I’m also using phpStorm on my intel i7 MacBook Pro, but with 32GB RAM. There I observe that the CPU comes to its limits and the fans start as soon as phpStorm is indexing. Otherwise it runs ok. Do you think this is related to the M chipset compatibility?
@ppica_ @LarsPeterke@seb_sebsn I’ll also switch from a 13“ intel pro to a 14“ m3 pro. 16“ would be too big and not portable enough in my case. On my desk I work with a second screen.
How much RAM do you recommend with the m Macs for web development? Would 18GB shared memory enough?
@TheJackForge@Keuxdi How much RAM / shared memory do you recommend for dev work with docker and web environment? Is 18GB enough or do you recommend the upgrade to 36GB?
@derjanni@TheJackForge@Kieran_Conlon Thanks for sharing your experience. I’ll update from an intel Mac. But I’m not sure about the shared memory.
How much shared memory do you recommend for your kind of work? Is 16GB enough for working with docker and all kind of dev tools?
@dt_buzzjoe I can understand that very well. First of all, thank you very much for your really great work so far.
I would vote for your projects and find it absolutely justified. You give a lot of added value with your support and projects to @defichain
Remember me writing about DMC being a work shop, providing a bunch of tools, ready to be used?
There’s an example of a good tool. And this tool is awaiting funding via CFP!
Sadly, it’s not looking good for this tool right now. And I have an idea why MN owners voted against it with more than 60% as this point in time.
I believe they‘re wrong because they might just see 60k DFI and something with snakes 😂
I believe 60k DFI is cheap for what we got with this Python Library. And we should appreciate the work of its developer.
Okay, what is it? Well, let’s see it this way: Would you rather use a power drill to get a hole in a wall or would you choose to make it by hand, just having a drill bit but no machine? That’s the equivalent we‘re talking here.
@Intr0c‘s Python library is basically a DeFiChain light wallet but for developers. And he already put it in the DeFiChain work shop. Future developers can use it to automate things right within their program code. They don’t have to figure out how to communicate with DeFiChain. They simply can focus on what‘s important: building the functionality they’re aiming for.
This programming library is speeding up everything by factor 10. And it is securing everything by the same amount because Eric did the heavy lifting and put it in an easy-to-use tool.
But he did not stop there. He also wrote us developers a handy instruction manual. You might think „Meh. I don’t read manuals.“ - but boy are you wrong with this attitude when it comes to software development! A good documentation is almost more important than the tool itself!
So, please, if you don’t understand what this Python library is, that’s totally okay. But listen to me: This thing is a gigantic leap forward for DeFiChain! It will enable future projects to work almost on steroids. It will enable DMC to succeed more than you might imagine!
So, please honor Eric‘s work and vote with a yes. Just trust me as a developer. Having him motivated and honored will work like rocket fuel in the future.
