🇺🇸 Which way, Republican Party?

Three names lead the early 2028 betting markets, and each one represents a different path for the GOP.

🔴 Ron DeSantis is term-limited, and his next move looks like the White House.

He’s been the most outspoken voice on the right since Tuesday, doing interview after interview.

He appeals to both the establishment and populist wings of the party, with enough Trump in him to keep the base.

He’s also very popular in Florida across generations. If he wins the primary, he could be a tremendous candidate.

🔴 Marco Rubio, the current Secretary of State, is rumored (unconfirmed) to be resigning in order to run.

He’s a pragmatic institutionalist who has adapted to the populist shift, and remains quite popular.

As a Hispanic candidate, he could help win back crucial states like Texas. But being part of the Trump administration cuts both ways.

🔴 JD Vance, the Vice President, may be the purest ideological voice of the new populist right, with real appeal to the post-liberal wing.

But he may have the toughest road, since he’s tied (even moreso than Rubio) to an administration that’s very unpopular right now.

That could change in 2 years, and he did move fast after the midterms to separate himself, blaming the Iran war.

Some voices on the right don’t want any of the three. Tucker Carlson’s name is floating around, too.

And whoever it is faces a brutal question: can ANY Republican win in 2028?

Democrats just took Texas. Republicans aren’t winning California, and the party needs 270 electoral votes.

It’s hard to see how they get there without Texas.

History offers a warning. After Democrats’ big Senate majority in 2009 and 2010, Romney lost in 2012.

Then Trump arrived in 2016, and the party was never the same.

And this time, Democrats may have their own Obama.

Jon Ossoff leads on their side. He’s young, charismatic, from a Southern state, and speaks with that same cadence.

So do the candidates run now, or sit out and hope for better prospects in 2032?

Someone like DeSantis risks fading into irrelevance if he hangs back too long. But run into this headwind, and a loss could end your political career.

The one thing every Republican hopeful has to figure out: is 2028 an opportunity or a trap?

In May 1958, CIA pilot Allen Pope was shot down and captured while flying a Douglas B-26 Invader during the Indonesian Crisis. After learning that Pope was being held on house arrest at a jungle resort on the slopes of Mt. Merapi, and had some freedom of movement outside, the CIA’s Technical Services Staff came up with a plan to air-drop an inflatable airplane to him, so he could rescue himself.

According to authors Robert Wallace and Keith Melton, CIA turned to the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, which had been working to develop an inflatable rubber plane called the Inflatoplane. Several prototypes were built for the US military, including single-seat and dual-seat designs.

The single-seat model could be packed up in a mere 44 cubic feet with a 40-hp engine and propeller strapped on top. There was also an onboard air compressor which would maintain positive pressure during flight, even if the aircraft were punctured by several .30 caliber bullets. The Inflatoplane had relatively low top speeds and range but was considered more than sufficient for the Pope rescue scenario.

Inflatoplanes were designed to be filled with compressed air from a canister, but the CIA worked instead to fill the fuselage with chemical pellets. When Pope reached the aircraft, all he would need to do was pour water into the reservoir, which would react with the chemical pellets, quickly filling the rubber fuselage with an inert gas. Pope could then fly himself to safety.

The prototype was tested and ready, but the rescue operation was ultimately canceled for unknown reasons. Pope remained under house arrest until 1962, when he was released after diplomatic negotiations. Some reports indicate two paramilitary CIA officers assisted him in escaping to safety. Pope returned to service with the CIA afterwards as a pilot on covert missions.

Years later when another mission offered the potential of using the inflatable airplane, CIA technicians pulled it from the warehouse only to discover that the rubber was dried up and cracked due to lack of maintenance. The prototype was discarded, never to be used again.

Pasar itu adalah salah 1 dari sekian kegiatan u/ hidupin kebun bambu pasca konfrensi. Ane cuman sempet bantu ilustrasi konsep. Bnyk drama. 🤣

Pasar Papringan yang sekarang terkenal ini ternyata dulunya pernah gagal gara-gara konflik sosail dan over-komersialisasi.

Akhirnya, sekarang dia cuma dibuka 2x sebulan, di Minggu Pon dan Minggu Wage.

Buat transaksi di sini juga gak bisa pakai sembarang duit, melainkan wajib pakai keping bambu yang dinamai "Pring."

Tempatnya didirikan di kebun bambu yang dulu dianggap gelap dan kumuh.
Seluas 3.500 m2, gak ada satu bangunan beton pun di sini buat menjaga resapan air.

Di akhir 2025 Alman udah ngasitau berdasar chart 2024 pemasangan combat system FMP 1 baru dilakukan sekitar 2027, itu pun jika pemasoknya tepat waktu.

Desain dasar kapalnya sama. Bedanya, pihak Inggris lebih transparan & terbuka jika ada masalah di proyeknya sementara pihak sini info proyeknya sering gelap & pejabatnya asbun. Dirut PAL ngomong diserahkan September 2026, Menhannya malah ngomong beroperasi sebelum akhir 2025. 🤣
