Now the state @Kerala will be known as @KERALAM, which is Malayalam version of former. Legislative Assembly of Kerala passed a resolution on 24.06.2024 to alter the name of the State of “Kerala” to “Keralam”, and the central government has approved the same. On the 1st day of November, 1956, the state was formed on the linguistic basis and Malayalam being the state langue its now renamed as well. Congratulation Kerala for having new name.
