Shailaja, a tribal Gurukul student who was on ventilator for 20 days, died a little while ago at NIIMS #Hyderabad.
64 students fell ill after eating contaminated food in school in Wankidi, Komaram Bheem district, #Telangana

16 yr old Shailaja was on ventilator for almost 20 days now. All because she ate the food served to her at the Govt run residential school.

Imagine the outrage if the food poisoning happened at a restaurant or a hotel and claimed a 16yr old’s life?

Shailaja’s death is inconsequential for all of us, because she is too poor to be studying at a govt school and to be eating food served there.

Recently, there was an order that was passed banning mayonnaise in Hyderabad because a woman died after consuming adulterated mayo.

But Shailaja’s death. Doesn’t count!

So! Who killed Shailaja? No one.
Her death is due to her being born poor!
