Il caso di Hüseyin Dogru, giornalista berlinese di origini turche, è diventato il simbolo di una deriva autoritaria che preoccupa giuristi e difensori dei diritti civili.

Tutto inizia nel 2025, quando Dogru finisce nel 17esimo pacchetto di sanzioni contro Mosca. L’accusa formale?

Con il suo lavoro giornalistico “filo-palestinese”, avrebbe “alimentato discordie etniche, politiche e religiose”, sostenendo così le “attività destabilizzanti della Russia”.

Prove? Nessuna. In buona sostanza, l’Unione europea ha introdotto una sorta di “reato d’opinione” senza dirlo pubblicamente, utilizzando l’escamotage – piuttosto subdolo – delle sanzioni.

Il 27 maggio, riporta il giornale tedesco Berliner Zeitung, Dogru ha reso pubblico sulla piattaforma X un documento scioccante: la sua banca ha informato sua madre, una pensionata, che il suo conto corrente e il deposito titoli sono stati congelati.

La motivazione è agghiacciante nella sua vaghezza: “A causa di un rapporto di controllo sulle disponibilità finanziarie da parte di suo figlio, il signor Hüseyin Dogru”.

Sua madre non ha ricevuto alcuna comunicazione ufficiale dalle autorità tedesche. Nessuna accusa, nessun procedimento giudiziario. I suoi risparmi di una vita sono diventati inaccessibili dall’oggi al domani.

Non è il primo episodio. Lo scorso marzo era stato il conto della moglie a finire temporaneamente bloccato, con l’accusa di “elusione delle sanzioni” da parte della Zentralstelle für Sanktionsdurchsetzung, un’autorità della dogana tedesca.

Oggi Dogru può disporre di soli 506 euro mensili per sopravvivere. Qualsiasi donazione in denaro o in natura è vietata: chi gli offrisse qualcosa rischierebbe di essere accusato di eludere le sanzioni europee.

Sua moglie e i loro tre bambini piccoli vivono nell’incertezza più assoluta, senza riuscire più a pagare l’affitto e i bisogni quotidiani.

Sono questi i fantomatici “valori europei”?
