Everything works perfectly fine here with a 5090, no stutters at all surprisingly. The 30 FPS cutscenes do not bother me either, since Frame Generation brings them up to 60 FPS for me, apparently.
I have also been experimenting with DLSS 5 ShortFuse, but I will wait for some performance improvements before using it regularly. Right now, it drops me below 60 FPS at 4K.
Without it, I am consistently above 120 to 140 FPS at 4K with DLSS Quality.
@GamerInVoid No. This is styled DLSS 5, either Natural or Cinematic.
True DLSS 5 is the Default mode.
Please stop spreading incorrect information and videos. Confidence is rather less impressive when the settings are wrong.
@Pirat_Nation The technology is an absolute revolution in gaming, probably one of the most important advances we have ever seen in real time graphics. I am genuinely surprised NVIDIA did not put it behind a €100 per month subscription. Maybe the leaks made that idea a little harder to sell.
Here is DLSS5 working on an animation I made in Unreal. It uses the existing geometry, animation, textures and lighting to render. It doesn't make stuff up out of thin air.
There is zero generative AI. This is the exact use of AI that people have wanted. As a tool where artists maintain full art direction.
Neural rendering makes creating amazing art with real 3D models easier and more accessible. All 3D artists should be excited.

@IsThisA3DModel I encourage you to create a 3D model or animation sometime and try it out for yourself, it can be fun creating something!
90 FPS with the 9950X3D + 5090 (ROG Astral). That's a 60 FPS drop from the original. Fully playable though, and I'm starting my re-run right now. Testing BG3 and Cyberpunk next.
