The fifth edition of the International Hydrogen Ecosystem North Adriatic Conference took place last month and our researcher @gupta_surajg (@JSI_SLO ) was there 📸. This year’s event focused on #HydrogenValleys across Europe and served as a meeting point for key decision-makers shaping the future of the #hydrogen sector.

Publication Alert! 📑 We have tailored a non-noble electrocatalyst composite to achieve bifunctionality, enabling new breakthroughs in alkaline water electrolysis.💧 The catalyst demonstrated superior HER performance and enhanced OER kinetics, surpassing state-of-the-art PGM catalysts. Our partner the @JSI_SLO was part of this interesting work, published in the journal Small Science by @wileyinresearch. Congrats!🥳

We had a very pecial #webinar session on #non-PGMs catalysts, organised in collaboration with our partner the @JSI_SLO, in Slovenia. It was our first multi-speaker webinar, with our participants coming from start-ups, industry, and academia, providing different perspectives on the technology transfer process.

PGMs are highly resistant to corrosion, chemical attack, and high temperatures, and possess unique catalytic properties, making them ideal for use as catalysts. However, they are considered critical raw materials (CRMs).

During this session, we discussed the leading groups working on non-PGM catalysts, the state-of-the-art in their scale-up, and how to engage industries to share advancements in their industrial implementation, among other topics.
