This clip which was shared with me is about Shri Inder Jit Singh Sidhu of Chandigarh.

Apparently, every morning at 6 AM, in the quiet streets of Chandigarh’s sector 49, this 88-year-old retired police officer begins his day in service.

Armed with nothing but a cycle cart and an unwavering sense of duty, he moves slowly and purposefully, picking up rubbish from the roadside.

He says he wasn’t happy with the ‘low rank’ Chandigarh got in the Swachh Surekshan listing. But instead of complaining, he chooses action.

Each piece of trash he clears is more than just litter removed. It’s a statement. A quiet, persistent belief in a better world. A belief in living with meaning, regardless of age or recognition.

In a world often obsessed with youth and speed, his slow but steady footsteps tell us that Purpose doesn’t retire. Service doesn’t age.

Celebrating the Army Medical Corps Day, #MilitaryHospital Meerut launched a remarkable initiative honoring #AMC's gallant brave-hearts through inter-unit sports events. NK/NA Deepak Singh, Vir Chakra (P) Volley Ball Cup witnessed Meerut Field Hospital emerge victorious while MH Meerut won the Maj Laishram Jyotin Singh, Ashok Chakra (P) Memorial Cricket Cup. Finally, the Capt Devashish Sharma, Kirti Chakra (P) Memorial 10km run witnessed Sep Kamal Saini of another Meerut Fd Hosp blaze through the finish line with record timing. The events were a demonstration of esprit-de-Corps by Military Hospital and Field Hosptals of Meerut Garrison which is a befitting tribute to our bravehearts.

My parents visited @SubwayIndia at Jallianwala Bagh, Amritsar. The access to the outlet is through narrow stairway with no side railings. It’s dangerous for elderly and can lead to fatal accidents. It’s requested if side railings can be put.
