Heat mirage can matter at that point but we’re talking when you are shooting 500 yards and behind in short succession. So it’s just a tacticool toy for most people. Hell I bough one and rarely used.

@unrelaxedguy @hoplopfheil More for low volume shooting where there is a premium on accuracy. I kept one on my can I used in PRs matches. Some guys used them in comps. But I neither saw the reason to run anything shorter than 16 inches in a multigun and a can doesn’t help enough to justify the wield.

@bmitori Modern guns are simple commodities due to reliable firearms made with efficient manufacturing processes using cheaper materials. In hard tines when people are selling you get an abundance of supply and shops can barely sell a used gun for the margin they can get on a new one.
